DESIGNATION: BOILER DCS ENGINEER
ROLE: BOILER DCS
DEPARTMENT: CAPTIVE POWER PLANT– OPERATIONS
REPORTS TO: ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER – CAPTIVE POWER PLANT (OPERATIONS)
LOCATION: KHUNTI, CHOWKA-KANDRA ROAD, JHARKHAND
•Operate and monitor boiler systems using DCS (Distributed Control System) in accordance with standard operating procedures.
•Start-up, shut-down, and load regulation of boilers based on plant requirements.
•Monitor parameters such as steam pressure, temperature, fuel feed, and combustion efficiency.
•Maintain optimal fuel-to-air ratios to ensure safe and efficient combustion.
•Coordinate with turbine and utility teams for smooth operation and load adjustments.
•Troubleshoot operational issues and perform basic maintenance checks.
•Log operational data and maintain accurate shift reports.
•Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
•Support energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives within the utility section.
•Respond quickly and effectively to any plant alarms or emergency conditions.
•Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
•Minimum 2–4 years of experience in DCS operation of high-pressure boilers in process or power industries.
•Experience in captive power plants, steel plants, chemical industries, or process plants.
•Exposure to utilities like turbine, deaerator, cooling tower, and water treatment will be an advantage.

•Strong knowledge of boiler operations, safety procedures, and control logics.
•Familiarity with PLC / DCS systems (Honeywell, Siemens, Yokogawa, ABB, etc.).
•Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
•Effective communication and coordination ability.
•Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and holidays.
